World's largest high-altitude (1,691m) outdoor Olympic speed skating oval. 10,500 m² ice / 7.5-ft thick glacial-water ice. Capacity 8,100 (hockey/FS setup). Opened 1972. 127 world records set here. Open year-round (summer: cycling, skateboarding; winter: ice skating). Reconstruction announced 2025 to ISU standards for speed skating WC hosting.
