It is not a news aggregator — its data is curated and structured, with source attribution on every entry. It is not a social network — the product is the directory itself, with editorial layered on top. Its purpose is to document hockey at every level, in every country where it is played, with the same depth and rigor whether the topic is the NHL Stanley Cup Final or the Emirates Ice Hockey League in Abu Dhabi. Every rink, team, player, and league entry has at least one source citation, displayed at the bottom of the page. Listings that have not been updated in 12+ months are flagged as "may be outdated." The directory is editorial in nature — there is no paid placement in editorial content, no sponsored rankings, no pay-to-boost. Sponsored listings (clearly labeled "Sponsored") appear in designated ad slots only, separate from editorial. Update cadence: rinks updated at least annually; teams updated weekly during the season, monthly off-season; players updated within 48 hours of a trade or roster move; leagues updated at the start of each season.
